Please don´t be scared of the size of this article, the most is examples.

Before you can edit or create an article (brewery, brand ect.) you have to create a user account and be logged in., this because we have experienced problems with spam.

Create a user account

Click on the link Log in/create account witch you find at the top right side of the page.

Dont loose informaton by misstake

In order to not loose information by misstake when editing you can use two internet windows, one for this help, and one for the real job you are doing when editing.

How to create a page/article

Wikibeeria already has a lot of articles.
If you already have the logo and labels ready (JPG or PNG) start to upload them to make the editing easier/faster.

Before creating an article, you should search to check that there is no suitable article that already exists.

Consider adding your information to existing articles that might include information about the subject of the article you propose. For example, if you want to write an article about a brand, you might search for the brand and then add information to that article.

If no suitable articles already exist or the subject has enough depth for an article of its own then you need to start a new article.

In the search box near the top right of a page, type the title of the new article (Brewery name, brand ect.) then click Go. If the Search page reports "There were no results matching the query. Create the page...." followed by the article name in red, then you can click the red article name to start editing it.

Add a brewery to an article

There are some guidelines we want you to follow when you set up a new brewery at Wikibeeria.

For the hard information about the brewery such as production, name etc. use the Template:Infobox company (which is a help to get all the information look the same at the site) To use this template you simply copy this.

{{Infobox
|headerstyle  = background:#ccf;
|labelstyle   = background:#ddf;
|datastyle    =

|header1 = Brands made by
|data2   = Updated
*example
*example

|belowstyle = background:#ddf;text-align:left

Add information to a brand

Even here we use a template to fill in the information.

When you finished editing your brewery you will find a lots of brand marked as red, click one to start edit the brand. The first thing to do is copying this template into the brand article.

Fill out the information and click the Show preview button to look at the result before saving.

Now you're almost done, to make the information about the brewery or the brand a little more interesting for the eye, we like you to upload a logo and the labels to embed them into the templates for each article/Brewery/brand (logo for the brewery page and labels for the brand page)(We mentioned this at the start of this page.
